"Chrissy's Fight to Breathe" fundraiser to take place on Aug. 24
On Aug. 24, a motorcycle run and fundraiser will support “Chrissy’s Fight to Breathe."
Chris Perry Jr., 16, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when he was only three days old. Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening disease affecting about 30,000 Americans that primarily targets the lungs and digestive system. Throughout his young life, Perry has been hospitalized about 20 times. All proceeds from the ride and fundraiser will benefit the Perry family and assist with Chris’s “fight to breathe."
The event will begin at noon and will include food, raffles, music by DJ Finesse, airbrushing, and various vendors.
Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for kids. This price includes the ride, food, and entry to event.
The motorcycle run will leave John W. Decas Elementary School (760 Main St. in Wareham) at 11 a.m. Registration starts at 10 a.m.
The bike run will end at the Dudley Brown VFW at 4 Gibbs Ball Park Road in Onset.
