Church seeks public's input on making Wareham stronger, healthier
From sheltering the homeless to feeding the hungry, the Church of the Good Shepherd already offers many programs for those less fortunate. However, there’s more work to be done according to Rev. Dan Bernier.
In an effort to make Wareham a stronger, healthier community, church leaders are asking the public to share their joys, concerns and dreams regarding the town.
“We want to know what people think and how they feel about Wareham,” said Rev. Dan Bernier, the church’s pastor. “What are the strengths of Wareham, and what are some of the ways we could be stronger as a community?”
To do just that, Bernier said residents are invited to participate in a 30 minute interview with someone from the church. Based on the answers, parishioners will find a specific project they can plan and implement, in partnership with other community organizations.
“We value your input into how you believe we can make the Wareham community stronger and healthier,” said Bernier.
