Cleaning up and beautifying Wareham

May 18, 2015

With the weather heating up and Memorial Day fast approaching, many residents are making sure the town is clean, green, and ready for summer.

In Pezzoli Square on Main Street, member of the Wareham Garden Club have been mulching, planting and watering plants for the past several weeks.

In Onset, members of the Onset Bay Association Beautification Committee and and other residents have been out sweeping, cleaning and repainting in an effort to beautify the village, where thousands of tourists and summer residents will soon be traveling.

Any residents interested in doing their part can join one of the town-wide trash cleanups taking place on Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31. One cleanup has been organized through the YMCA and the other through a group of citizens called the Don't Trash Wareham Project.
