Community Arts hosts JazzLinks Quartet

May 10, 2010

You loved the JazzLinks Trio's performance as a trio last year, now imagine them with an additional player!

Former Wareham High School teacher Dennis Nobrega adds saxophone to the trio, whose other members include keyboardist and high school math teacher Jeff Dunn, Frank Noonan on trumpet and lead vocals, and Philip Vitale on drums.

The quartet will perform this Sunday, May 16 at 3 p.m. as the guest of Community Arts in Action. They will perform American music from throughout the 20th Century, beginning with "When the Saints Go Marching In," through the Big Band Era, all they way up to hits of the 1980s and 1990s.

Come to listen and dance. Tickets can be reserved by calling 508-273-7308 or can be purchased at the door. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for those over 55 years old, and $5 for students. Parking is available in the Town Hall parking lot. The entrance to the auditorium is at Door #9.

Refreshments and a raffle will occur during intermission.
