A Community Christmas

Nov 22, 2013

The Wareham Village Association will host its annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec.14, beginning at 3 p.m.

Upwards of four dozen groups will participate, including bands, youth organizations, trucks, horses and numerous floats.  People may arrive early to get the best spot along Main Street for viewing.

Before the parade, viewers can visit shops on Main Street for a fun Open House on Main Street.  Among those already signed up include Gourmet & Gourmand, Gallery Consignment Shop, Eastern Bank, Old Company Store, Jacks are Wild, Cumberland Farms and Pipers.

Merchants in Wareham Village and Onset are participating in a wreath and storefront decorating contest, further promoting holiday spirit.

And join the parade at the Wareham Fire Department station on Main Street after the parade for cocoa, photos with Santa, and a bonfire.
