ONSET – Corine A. (Andrews) Turner, 67, of Onset, passed away on January 2, 2024, in St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Christopher Turner and the daughter of the late Manuel V. “Corey” Andrews, Jr. and Olive (Amado) Andrews.

She was born in Wareham and lived in Virginia and West Virginia before moving back to Onset. She graduated from Wareham High School, class of 1974. 

Mrs. Turner worked as a Telephone Operator for 25 years for AT & T in Wareham and later in Charleston, West Virginia before retiring. 

She enjoyed playing Bingo, trips to the casino to play the slot machines and gambling. She was an excellent cook, loved life and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed “talking trash,” laughing, and having her hair and nails done every few weeks.  She would often be seen on her scooter riding around Onset. 

Survivors include 2 sons, Christopher Corey Turner and Chad Michael Turner both of Onset; a sister, Shelly Andrews of Onset; 2 brothers, Kevin Andrews and Kelvin Andrews both of Onset; 6 grandchildren, Courtney “C.J.” A. Turner, Jr., Chloe Turner, Cairo Turner, Alysha Andrade, Seth Andrade, and Ava Andrade; a great granddaughter, Aspen Driscoll. She was predeceased by her son, Courtney A. Turner, who passed away last year.

Visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. 

Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
