Cranberry Coast Concerts is back for another season of music and fun. Festival directors Kirk Whipple and Marilyn Morales, a husband and wife duo piano team, are back from their concert tours of Florida, Louisiana, and France and have prepared a diverse season of summer concerts.

The regional music festival, whose motto is “From Bach to Rock” will present local, national, and international touring concert artists in a wide variety of performance environments.

The Cranberry Coast Concerts Chorale returns for its third straight season to present “A Celebration of Piano & Voice.” On Friday, July 8 pianists Whipple, Morales, and Chris Brown will perform at the Community of Christ Church, located at 339 Onset Avenue.

Cranberry Coast Concerts will hold an open audition and workshop for students interested in music from ages 12 to 25. Students selected will perform at the Outstanding Young Artist Concerts. On Friday, July 15 at 7 p.m. Whipple will perform “Spontaneous Improvisations,” an improvised piano concert that encourages audience participation, at Eastern Bank, located at 226 Main Street.
