Daniel Thomas Bacchiocchi, 42, of Onset, died April 24 in Tobey Hospital after an illness.

He was born in Wareham and lived there most of his life. He graduated from Wareham High School, Class of 1993. Daniel attended Bridgewater State College and Cape Cod Community College studying art. He was a self taught 3-D animator and was adept at configuring computer components to run the programs. Daniel made online contacts across the country and was cited in 3-D publications for his talents. He enjoyed hockey, kayaking, golf and painting.

Survivors include his mother, Cheryl M. (Williams) Washington of West Wareham; his father and step mother, Richard R. Bacchiocchi and Donna Nightingale of Hyannis; his grandmother, Mildred V. Bacchiocchi of East Wareham; two brothers, Richard L. Bacchiocchi and his fiancé, Kim Hathaway of Sandwich, and Shane W. Bacchiocchi and his wife, Caryn of Quincy; his nephew, Nicholas and his niece, Eva; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 28 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Wareham. 
Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
