David W. Fenton, 61

David W. Fenton, 61, of Wareham, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham after a long illness. He was the husband of Lynda M. (Cormier) Fenton.

Born and raised in Waltham, he was the son of Princess L. (Follis) Fenton of Waltham and the late David J. Fenton. As a member of Laborers’ International Union Local 721 in Brockton, he worked at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth. A machinist by trade, he also worked at other companies in various roles.

David was an avid collector of duck decoys, was a sports fan, and enjoyed the outdoors.  He and his wife have given everything they have to help raise their grandchildren.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves behind his children, David Fenton, Michael Fenton and Krystal Fenton all of Wareham; two sisters, Lori (Fenton) Nelson and her husband Donald of Wareham, Cheryl (Fenton) Gaudet and her husband Bruce of Londonderry, NH; four grandchildren, David, Logan and Breydan that he was raising, and Princess of Wareham.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sister, the late Joy (Fenton) Geary and his brother, the late Patrick Fenton.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy.
