The driver in a rollover crash on Cranberry Highway on Tuesday, August 13, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.
The accident occurred in the area of Division Avenue at approximately 4 p.m.
Wareham Police Acting Chief Kevin Walsh said 33-year-old Melissa Kunz of Buzzards Bay was driving her 1998 Chevrolet sedan when she apparently fell asleep, veered across Cranberry Highway, grazed a tree with the front driver's side tire, and struck a utility pole and a speed limit sign, which caused the car to flip onto its roof.
No tickets were issued. Kunz was transported to Tobey Hospital.
