Drug suspects arrested with 10-year-old in tow
Wareham Police on Tuesday arrested a Plymouth man on drug and child endangerment charges after observing an alleged drug deal during which a 10-year-old was present, police said.
The child's mother and another woman were also arrested.
Wareham Police observed what they believed to a drug transaction take place at a car wash on Cranberry Highway at approximately 10 a.m. on Tuesday, and upon approaching the vehicle, police say the driver left the parking lot.
The car was found behind another Cranberry Highway business, but the occupants were gone, according to police. Reports state that police found a substance they believed to be heroin on the door, floor and front seat of the car, as well as a bag of what they believed to be heroin on the side of the road while walking toward the vehicle.
Approximately 600 yards away, 27-year-old Tala Tuvale of Fairhaven, formerly of Wareham, was found walking with her 10-year-old daughter, as well as 21-year-old Kayla Boutilier of Wareham.
Both women have been charged with knowingly being present where heroin is kept, and the state Department of Children and Family Services has been notified.
Nicholas Nasveschuck, 27, of Plymouth, formerly of Wareham, was found on a beach off of Riverside Drive in Onset, about a mile from where the original incident occurred, according to police.
Nasveschuck has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (heroin), reckless endangerment of a child, failure to stop for police, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
