The ducks are racing and the oysters are delicious! It's time for the Friends Annual Rubber Duck Race and the Wareham Oyster Festival.

Sunday, May 27 is a day full of fun for all ages. Race day festivities begin at 11 am at the Tihonet Pond Canal at the A.D. Makepeace Company, 158 Tihonet Road. Buy and decorate ducks, play games, and listen to local musician Michael Couto entertain. The race is at 2:00. Ducks will also be sold at the Oyster Festival. Proceeds support the Wareham Free Library.

Lunch is the perfect time to stop by the Fifth Annual Wareham Oyster Festival from 11 am to 5 pm on Main Street. Oysters from local farmers, other seafood delights, ice cream, cookies, food trucks etc. will ensure that no one leaves hungry! Three fabulous bands will be playing all day, and craft vendors will line the street.There's still time to register for the 5K race with proceeds supporting the Boys and Girls Club.
