Edna V. (Getchell) Kazules, 86, of Wareham, died Saturday, July 18 at Royal Cape Cod Nursing Home in Buzzards Bay. She was the wife of the late Joseph Kazules.

Born in Holden, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Edna (Pooler) Getchell. A previous resident of Stoughton and West Bridgewater, she moved to Buzzards Bay 17 years ago. Mrs. Kazules was employed as kitchen prep cook at Wellesley College. Mrs. Kazules loved animals of all kinds.

She is survived by her daughters, Eileen Maloney of Wareham and Cynthia Orcutt of Abington; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway at 3 p.m. Interment in Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne will be at a later date.
