El Mariachi to host fundraiser for Tobey Alford’s sister

El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant, 207 Main St., is hosting a scholarship fundraiser for the late Tobey Alford’s twin sister MaryJane Alford.
Tobey, 14, died in April due to injuries sustained from being hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Sandwich Road.
Starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, a portion of all food and drink sales will go to MaryJane’s college education.
At Tobey’s memorial vigil, the Plymouth County Teachers Federal Credit Union opened up a $2,500 scholarship account for MaryJane.
