Elizabeth D. (Rose) Amado, 86, of Wareham, died Feb. 14 in Sippican Healthcare Center, Marion. She was the widow of the late Joseph S. Amado and the daughter of the late Antone and Candida (Duarte) Rose.

She was born in New Bedford and lived in Marion and Wareham for most of her life.

Survivors include two sons, John P. Andrade, Jr. and Rene A. Andrade both of Wareham; two grandchildren, Katherine Andrade of Wareham and Shaun Andrade of Mashpee; three great grandchildren, Jason J. Andrade, Alyssa Andrade and Kennedy Roomey; a sister, Antoinette Nascimento of New Jersey and brother Manuel Nascimento of California. She was grandmother of the late Jason Andrade and sister of the late Arthur Rose, Joseph Rose, Mary Rose Pina, Walter Rose and Eugina Harrison.

Her funeral will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 25 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
