Elizabeth P. (Payson) Duncan, 86, of Marion died December 24 in her home. She was the widow of the late Robert R. Duncan, Jr. and the daughter of the late Randolph and Elizabeth (Codman) Payson.
She was born in Chicago and lived in Centerville for many years before moving to Marion in 1966.
Mrs. Duncan graduated from the Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, Connecticut and attended the Parsons School of Design in New York.
A kind and giving person, Betsy spent over forty years in dedicated service to her community and was a very active member of Saint Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Marion. She was a Cub Scout den mother, a volunteer at Damian's Food Pantry in Wareham, and was always willing to help with local activities and charitable organizations.
