Evelyn M. (Barrows) Tatarouns, 81, of Wareham, formerly of Brockton, died May 12, 2010 in the Forestview Nursing Home. She was the widow of the late Anthony P. Tatarouns and the daughter of the late Charles and Lucy (Corning) Barrows.

She was born in Brockton and lived there for many years before moving to Wareham in 1998.

Mrs. Tatarouns was an admitting clerk at Brockton Hospital for many years before retiring.

She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She enjoyed traveling and playing BINGO.

Survivors include her daughter Susan vonMagnus, of Wareham; a sister, Eleanor Barron, of Pocasset; a granddaughter, Tania vonMagnus, of Boston; several nephews and nieces. She was the mother of the late Tracy Ann Tatarouns.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, in St. Patrick's Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours are from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rte. 28), Wareham.
