Family Fun Day will be held at the Dudley Brown VFW in Onset on Sunday, June 8, to help support the Run to Home Base Program which helps treat soldiers and veterans who suffer from PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. The event is in memory of SPC Ryan Goldie.
Family Fun Day runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local country music star Timmy Brown will be performing live from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and there will be a DJ, bouncy houses, a dunk tank, a magician, face painting, and more. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be cooked on the grill as well.
