The state championship-winning boys basketball team will be hosting a fish fry fundraiser on Friday, Aug. 25 at 5 p.m.

The fish fry will be held at Dudley L. Brown VFW Post 2846. Plates are $15 for fish and chips with jag, advanced sales are encouraged. 

Lady K will be playing music from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and there will be a 50/50 raffle.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to funding travel to Florida for a national tournament in December. The cost for the team is $40,000 and their goal is to have every player attend, regardless of cost. 

The current team has been playing together since they were in 4th grade and had the dream of winning a state championship together, which they achieved this past year.
