The Wareham Area Clergy Association’s five-mile charity walk raised $14,346 for Turning Point on Sunday, May 21.

“The walk exceeded expectations,” said Turning Point Executive Director Shirley Santos. 

Those who walked the path, which started and ended at the Church of the Good Shepherd on High Street, collected donations for the anti-homelessness organization in the weeks leading up to the walk.

“We’ll keep walking until everyone has a home,” said Pastor Dan Bernier of the Church of the Good Shepherd. 

The walk was such a success that the Wareham Area Clergy Association is already planning to hold another one in 2024.
