A complimentary luncheon for all Wareham High School retirees will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the Wareham High School cafeteria.

The luncheon will be informal, with chicken parmigiana served as the main course. It is primarily an opportunity for retired staff and current teachers to get together and share experiences.

"We wanted to do this on the day of graduation to encourage retired people to come back into the building," said Wareham High School Principal Scott Palladino. "This is our first year doing this; we hope to make it an annual event."
