Frances A Fortes-Otey 11.07.1943 - 07.12.2024

Born in Acushnet Massachusetts to of the late WWII Veteran Nicholas F Fortes and Amelia A Lopes-Fortes, she grew up in Hyannis, Wareham, Marion and New York.

She worked for the state of Massachusetts Executive Health and Human Services and Bachelors of Divinity Miami Florida.

The Beloved Mother of late Eugene Otey lll survived by his 2nd wife Dorothy Otey of Georgia, Gina Otey Daley and Tina Otey of Boston.

Sister of Nicholas F Fortes Jr  of California and the late Mrs Jeanne Carrasquillo of Queens-Long Island New York.

Aunt of N. 'Frank' Fortes, Mark Fortes of Rhode Island, Eddie and Nichole 'Missy' Fortes-Samuel of Attleboro, the late David Fortes of South Carolina, also many many cousins.

Also survived by Auntie Betty of Boston 90 years old, 5 grand children Nicholas, Milan, Michael, Marita, and Solomon whom is also her Godchild and 7 great grand children. 

Service will be held on Friday August 9, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's Church, 82 High Street, Wareham MA.
