Frank G. McGrath, age 79, of West Wareham died peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Carolyn (Kilfoil) McGrath.

Born in Boston, Frank was son to the late Frank and Elizabeth (McGee) McGrath.

Frank grew up in Dorchester, graduating from Don Bosco Technical High. A highlight of his early career was working at EG&G before he launched Cambridge Aero Instruments. In his retirement he loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. Frank was known for his sense of humor and spoiling his grandchildren. Recently he enjoyed watching the ships pass through the Cape Cod Canal.

Frank is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Shoulla of Marshfield and Mary Carter and her husband Joseph of Attleboro; his two daughters, Kerry of Belfast, ME and Maureen and her husband John Lund; and 3 grandchildren, Sean, Caitlyn, and Annika of Rochester, MA, who will all miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 12 Noon in the Wickenden Chapel at Tabor Academy, Spring St., Marion, MA. Visiting hours will be held at the Chapel from 10am - 12 Noon, prior to the service. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals.
