To the Editor:

The Friends of the Wareham Free Library wish to thank all those who have contributed to make 2016 such successful year in our quest to help support the Wareham Free Library. The Wareham community is wonderful in their support; donating books for our used book sales and attending the various fund raisers throughout the year. The Friends could not possibly do the work we do without the support of our incredible community.

The Friends are already planning for 2017 with used book sales starting in March and the rubber duck race scheduled for Sunday, May 28 at Tihonet Village.

The book collection cart is closed to donations until March 1. There is a problem of enough storage room to keep books during the winter months. Please save your donations until March when the Friends will be happy to have your donations again.

Also remember we do not take encyclopedias, text books or books with mildew.
