The Wareham Garden Club has compiled a cookbook, which they are selling to support their work beautifying the town and providing scholarships to students. 

Recipes include appetizers, beverages, breads, soups, salads, main dishes, veggie soups, and desserts — along with some surprises.

“We asked the members to send in two or three of their favorite recipes,” Sandy Slavin said.

One of the club members, Judy Morgan, compiled the book. 

This is the first true cookbook produced by the Garden Club, and it features the members’ favorite recipes to cook and eat.

On Thursday, October 1, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., cookbooks can be purchased at St. Patrick’s Church Hall on High Street. On Tuesday, October 6, cookbooks will be for sale from 10 a.m. to noon outside the library at 59 Marion Rd. 

Books can be paid for by check, made payable to the Wareham Garden Club, or with cash.
