Gatemen make the rounds at Wareham Crossing
There will be a family fun day at Wareham Crossing on Thursday, July 14 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The shopping complex will be hosting the 2011 Wareham Gatemen baseball team and baseball-theme events throughout the day along with other family activities. The players will be on hand to interact with the kids, sign autographs, and take pictures.
Participants will start the day in front of Cosi Restaurant and pick up a Gatemen team picture, sharpie, and special giveaway bag. Then, make their way down through the complex for free samples from Qdoba and Lindt, stress baseballs, candy from AT&T, Gatemen player autographs, and free hot dogs and cotton candy.
Next they will stop by Old Navy for face painting by Art on the Spot. The fun doesn’t stop. A there will be a Kids Fun Zone in front of Elements Gym featuring a photo booth. Kids will also receive some helpful baseball hints from a mini clinic taught by the Gatemen. There will also be a pitching machine so you can learn how fast everyone can pitch.
The event is free to the public. Wareham Crossing is located at 2421 Cranberry Highway.
