Get ready for fresh-baked clams

It’s that time of year again, and the Wareham Redmen are getting ready for their annual clam bake.

Last year’s clam bake brought out over 450 people and involved 46 bushels of clams.

This year, the Redmen will bake their clams on Sunday, August 4, with the event to be held at Redmen Hall, 745 Main Street.

Doors will open at 11 a.m., with food served around 1:30 p.m.

There will be music, raffles and a cash bar. The event will be held rain or shine.

Doggie bags, campers and coolers are all prohibited.

Tickets are $50 and available through a member. Call 508-291-0882 to arrange to pick up tickets at the Redmen Hall, or stop by on Monday nights between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. for tickets also. This year has limited availability, so get them soon.
