Golf for a cause at the 15th Annual Evergreen Open Golf Tournament

Jun 24, 2015

Golfers have a chance to tee off for a good cause the the 15th Annual Evergreen Open Golf Tournament.

Evergreen House, Inc., a non-profit sober home, will hold the tourney at the Little Harbor Country Club to benefit the organization’s efforts.

Entry into the tournament is donation-based, but businesses can become hole sponsors for $100 per hole. Hole sponsorship buys businesses a sign near the hole they have sponsored.

The tournament has a shotgun start in a scramble format, in which groups of golfers tee off simultaneously from different holes, and each team picks which shots within the team it thinks are the best.
