High school seniors learn financial literacy

Mar 14, 2025

In preparation for life after high school, Wareham seniors picked a career and mocked what financial decisions they would have to make in life.

The event, known as Credit for Life, has been done annually in conjunction with Cape Cod 5 bank to help high school seniors understand what financial decisions they might have to make after high school.

The financial decisions the kids have to decide in their mock careers include paying for education, paying for housing and budgeting for general living expenses.

Once the kids make their decisions, they work with financial experts to understand the impact of their decisions so they are better prepared when making these decisions after graduating.
