Historical Society to hold talk on quilting

The Wareham Historical Society will hold a talk on the history of quilting on March 21.
The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. at the Old Methodist Meeting House, 495 Main St.
Joan Goldfarb and Shirley Jones from the Busy Bee Quilters’ Guild will discuss the history of quilting from its beginning to the present time. Various styles of quilts from their collection and the historical society, as well as items used in quilting, will be on display. Admission is free for members, and $2 for non-members. Refreshments will be served following the program and a 50/50 raffle will be held.
