Hog Wild for K9s Charity Motorcycle Ride & Barbecue
Hog Wild for K9s Charity Motorcycle Ride and Barbecue, a tribute to law enforcement on the ten year anniversary of 9/11, will take place at Shooters Restaurant 360 Wareham Street in Middleboro on Sunday, September 11.
The event starts at 10am and will run until 6pm.
Proceeds will benefit Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. an East Taunton-based non-profit dedicated to outfitting police dogs with bullet and stab protective vests.
Participants will enjoy all you can eat barbecue and attractions from 2pm to 6pm. Riders and non-riders are welcome. Registration is from 10am to 12pm, Kickstands up at noon sharp.
A flag raising ceremony will be followed by a two hour scenic motorcycle ride, live entertainment provided by Wareham-based band Sound Tower and Groove Juice.
Event goers will have the chance to check out the latest custom motorcycles by Perewitz Cycle Fab, dunk a police officer in the dunk tank, shop at the vendor marketplace, hang out with the radio station Mix 104.1's Street Team, see working dog demonstration, and participate in raffles.
Limited tickets are available at Sinners & Saints Tattoo & Piercing, located at 37 Depot Street, online at www.vik9s.org, or onsite the day of the event.
The $25 cost per person includes all you can eat barbecue and entertainment.
