Hope L. Vieira, 48, died Tuesday, August 30, 2022 unexpectedly at her home.

Born in Wareham, she was the daughter of Ronald A. Vieira of Lady Lake, FL and Faith (Barros) Goodine of Wareham. Hope graduated from Wareham High School, Class of 1993 and worked as a certified nurses assistant at several area nursing homes. She moved to Florida six months ago.

She is survived by her parents, Ronald A. Vieira and his wife Sharon of Lady Lake, FL; her mother, Faith (Barros) Goodine and her husband Thomas of Wareham; her godmothers, Geraldine Gomes of Hyannis; her siblings, Sonya Santos of Carver, April Texiera of Boston, Serena Sherman of Taunton, and Jayson Vieira of New Bedford and many nieces and nephews. Hope was predeceased by her daughter, the late Kourtney Vieira and her siblings, the late Jennifer Vieira, John Vieira, Chad Barros, Brian Barros and Ronald A. Vieira, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sun., Sept. 11, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 5–8 p.m. Funeral will be Monday, Sept. 12 from the funeral home at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, 94 High St., Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
