James "Jim" A. Wright, 72 of Brooksville, Florida passed away September 28.
He was born in Quincy, MA. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Jim retired as a firefighter after serving 30 years in Somerville, MA. He enjoyed traveling and fishing. His grandchildren were his world. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda Wright of Brooksville, FL; daughter, Melinda Jackson and her husband, Sid of Evansville, IN; sons, Michael Wright and his wife, Lori of Alton, NH and Mark Wright and his wife, Bonnie of Townsend, MA; grandchildren, Madison, Kennedy, Haley, Jordyn, Jonathan and Katie; brothers, Kenny Wright, Paul Wright and his wife, Ann and Kevin Wright and his wife, Melanie all of Wareham, MA.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, in the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
