Jane E. (Fader) Reidy, 67

Jane E. (Fader) Reidy, 67, of Wareham, died June 19, 2021, at home. She was the wife of James F. Reidy, II. They were married for 48 years. She was the daughter of the late William D. and Pauline A. (McPhillips) Fader. 
Mrs. Reidy was born in Brockton and lived in Abington and Bourne before moving to Wareham. She graduated from Bourne High School.

She enjoyed playing the lottery and scratching tickets. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, her favorite player was Dustin Pedroia. She was a talented candy maker and enjoyed making chocolates. She loved her family and doted on her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, James F. Reidy, II; a son, Jason Reidy of Myrtle Beach, SC; 2 sisters, Julie Brown of Deerfield Beach, FL and Paula Moon of Norfolk, VA; a brother, Brian Fader of Pocasset; 3 grandchildren, Sayre Reidy, Austin Wilkinson and Connor Reidy.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. 

Her funeral and burial are being held privately.
