John Manuel Balanca, 81, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

John married his high school sweetheart, Francine Volpe. They lived in Hopedale for many years before moving to Onset. John and Fran recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Together they raised their four children, Jack, Kris, Rich and Rob, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his brother David and his wife, Millie, many close relatives and friends.

To say that he will be deeply missed is an under-statement. He will be missed by all. We loved the bald head with the pony tail!

Church services will be held on Saturday, August 6th at 10:00a.m., at the Church of the Good Shepherd located at 74 High Street, Wareham, MA.
