Key Club members begin annual fundraising campaign

Oct 13, 2016

The Wareham High School Key Club began its annual fundraising campaign to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus on Oct. 12.

Key Club members have set a goal of $300. The campaign goes until Oct. 28. Key Clubbers will be collecting spare change during this Halloween period as part of Kiwanis International's Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign.

Donations will help fight this painful disease. A newborn dies every 11 minutes from tetanus. Nearly 100 million women in more than 15 countries need help.

If anyone would like to assist with this effort or contribute, contact Lt. Col. Matthew Stanton at Wareham High School via email: mstanton@wareham.k12.ma.us.
