The New England District of Kiwanis International recently held its 93rd Annual New England District Convention in Warwick, Rhode Island. More than 300 Kiwanis members and their guests from the six New England states and Bermuda attended.

The New England District of Kiwanis is involved with many projects and community programs. Among these is the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute in partnership with the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Kiwanians have worked together since 1981 to provide the highest level of expertise available to treat the most seriously injured children.

Kiwanis International and its Service Leadership Programs boast a membership of more than 600,000 men, women, and youth in nearly 16,000 clubs in more than 80 countries and geographic areas. Members of the Kiwanis Family and its Service Leadership Programs volunteer more than 18 million hours and invest more than $107 million for children and communities around the world. Approximately 150,000 service projects are sponsored each year.
