WCVB Chronicle reporter Ted Reinstein will talk about his book “Before Brooklyn: The Unsung Heroes Who Helped Break Baseball’s Color Barrier” at the Library on Thursday, March 30 at 7 p.m. 

The book follows the little-known heroes who fought segregation in Major League Baseball before Jackie Robinson took the field in 1947. 

Copies of the book will also be available for purchase.
