Applicant is proposing to remove an existing timber retaining wall that is failing. The existing timber wall will be replaced with a concrete Redi-Rock wall. Also, the concrete steps down to the beach will be replaced with wood and composite decking and rails. The work will occur within the buffer zone to a coastal bank and coastal beach. Approximately 130sf of coastal bank will be temporarily altered to replace the existing concrete steps. Erosion control will be placed at the proposed limit of work.
