In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Onset Fire District, qualified to vote in the District Affairs, to meet in the Onset Fire Station, 8 Sand Pond Road, Onset, Massachusetts, on Tuesday evening February 24th, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. to act on the following articles:
ARTICLE 1
To see if the District will vote to amend Article 20 of the Fiscal Year 2024 Annual District Meeting as voted on May 15th, 2023 at 8 Sand Pond Road, Onset Fire Station, Onset, Massachusetts, by striking the language thereof and inserting in its place the following:
To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate, borrow or transfer from available funds a sum of money to purchase and equip a new Pumping Engine, including the payment of all costs incidental and related thereto, as follows:
Appropriate and transfer a sum of money to include all principal and interest from Stabilization Account Number 7135149 to New Vehicle Account Number 103.5258, and to appropriate and transfer a sum of money not to exceed $175,000.00 from Stabilization Account Number 7139136 to New Vehicle Account Number 103.5258, and then appropriate a sum of money not to exceed $925,000.00 from the New Vehicle Account Number 103.5258
or act anything thereon or thereunto.
