Leigh J. Noble, 56

Jun 30, 2025

WAREHAM - Leigh J. Noble, 56, passed peacefully on June 23, 2025, at home surrounded by the love of her human and fur family. She was born in Quincy to the late Judith (Stevens) Noble and Herbert J. Noble and raised in Wareham. In her early 20s she settled in New Hampshire where she spent the last 30 years sharing her kindness and generosity with others.

Her life was enriched by her deep love for all animals and created her own animal sitting business caring for treasured family companions.

She was a frequent supporter of the Dover Children's Home providing special holiday gifts throughout the year. She supplied much desired items or gift cards to help with special activities or programs. Most recently at Christmas she handmade each resident their very own quilt.

Leigh truly knew that it was more blessed to give than receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. Not only generous in life, but also in death. Realizing she was unable to be a traditional organ donor due to metastatic melanoma she made the ultimate, selfless decision of becoming an anatomical gift donor to UMASS Chan for medical education.

Leigh is survived by her brother, Herbert Noble and sister-in-law, Jennifer Noble of Wareham and nephews, Austin, Mitchell and Logan Noble. She will be deeply missed by her fur babies, Sandy, Missy, Boris and Camilla.

A special thank you to Jodie, Meaghan and Jenn at South Coast at Home for all of their help and support to keep Leigh at home to enjoy her time with her family and dogs.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Chapman Funerals & Cremations - WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy (Route 28), in Wareham, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leigh's name to South Coast at Home C/O Philanthropy Department, 141 Page St. New Bedford, MA 02740 (online: southcoast.org/at-home/donate) or Dover Children's Home, 207 Locust St. Dover, NH 03820 (online: doverchildrenshome.org).
