Leola M. 'Lee' MacDonald, 75

Leola M. “Lee” MacDonald, 75, of West Wareham, died June 5 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Robert D. MacDonald.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frederick J. and Florence E. (Harding) Morlock. A longtime resident of Boston, she moved to Wareham in 1978.

Mrs. MacDonald worked as a collector for the MBTA for many years retiring in 2001. Most recently, she was director of Turning Point, a social service agency in Wareham dedicated to helping individuals and families in need.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisamarie Dankers and Bobbi-Jo Johnson both of East Wareham; and her son, Robert Coughlin of Wareham; her sister, Loretta Baily of Maryville, Tennessee; her brother Barry Morlock of Brockton; her grandchildren, Michelle, Jessica, Katie, Danielle, David, Nicole, McKenzie, LaeAnn, Bobby, Michael and Mason; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Brian, Emersyn and Annalise and soon to be Zayleah, as well as many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 8, at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 6 Rogers Ave., Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Visiting hours will be Wednesday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Route 28), Wareham from 5 to 8 p.m.
