Leona M. Clarke, 74, of Buzzards Bay died November 25 at Tobey Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Attleboro, she was daughter of the late Fred & Muriel (Rounseville) Clarke and graduated from Attleboro High School.

Ms. Clarke was a bus driver for many years for the Lakeville and Wareham school systems. She was also a bartender at the former Riverview in Marion. Mrs. Clarke was a member of Swift Memorial United Methodist Church in Sagamore Beach and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and crafts.

She is the loving mother of Laurel (Marshall) Fernandes of Onset, Robin Dawson of Yaphank, NY and Nancy Rafferty of West Springfield, NH; grandmother of Mark Ploettner, Jeremy Dawson, Richard Dawson, Daniel and Douglas Rafferty, Antone Ploettner-Silva and Conrad Fernandes; sister of Kathleen Trebel of GA. She was predeceased by her daughter, the late Cheryl Silva, her sons-in-law, the late Paul Silva and the late James Dawson, and her sisters, the late Grace Stott and the late Irene Clarke.

Services will be private.
