Lindsey's Restaurant represents Cape Cod at Ellie Fund’s Annual Oscar Night Boston party

Mar 4, 2011

Cape Cod was well represented at The Ellie Fund’s 15th Annual Oscar Night Boston party on Sunday. Lindsey’s Restaurant, located at the Gateway to the Cape in East Wareham, once again donated their famous seafood bisque.

Among the celebrity guests was Cape Cod’s own favorite bachelor, Chris Lambton from the hit TV series The Bachelorette.  Lambton walked the red carpet with his girlfriend, Peyton Wright, who also appeared on The Bachelor and this past summer on the spin-off show, Bachelor Pad.   Lambton and Wright both gave two thumbs up to Lindsey’s delicious bisque and said they plan on visiting the restaurant in the future.

Five actors from the academy award winning film, The Fighter were at the event to celebrate the films achievements and to give support to Massachusetts breast cancer patients.  The charity event to benefit the Ellie Fund was broadcast live on WCVB Channel 5 by Bianca de la Garza, JC Monahan, Susan Wornick, and David Brown.

The Ellie Fund is a non-profit organization that provides services such as transportation to medical appointments, house cleaning and healthy meals to Massachusetts women fighting breast cancer.  For the past 15 years The Ellie Fund has been the only Oscar party officially sanctioned by the Academy of Arts and Sciences in Massachusetts.  For more information about the Ellie Fund, visit www.EllieFund.org
