Local author to share ghost stories from Wareham's past

Sep 24, 2010

Every New England town has its ghost legends, but Wareham seems to boast more than its fair share.

For many years Wareham native Edward Lodi has written and published stories about "the ghosties and ghoulies and long-leggéd beasties" that haunt the cranberry bogs and other dark corners of Wareham.

On Saturday, October 16, at Borders Books Music and Cafe at Wareham Crossing, he will talk about some of his favorite ghost stories, such as the Haunted Violin and the Legend of Black Johnny's Pond. The talk will take place at 2 pm. A signing will follow. Borders is located at 2421 Cranberry Highway, Suite 460 (508-295-0028).
