“Meet me for murder,” Edward Lodi suggests - if you have no other nefarious deeds scheduled for Saturday, April 17, from 1 to 3 p.m.  The author and Wareham native will be at Borders Books Music and Cafe at Wareham Crossing, signing copies of his latest, locally-set mystery “Murder at Anawan Rock.”

Though close to the highway and easily accessible, historic Anawan Rock is a lonely, sinister spot: a fit setting for the gruesome murder at the center of this compelling mystery. Is there a connection between events that occurred at the rock in the 17th century - during King Philip’s War - and a series of hideous murders in the 21st century? At the signing the author may offer clues…or merely red herrings. In either instance, it would be a crime to miss meeting him.
