Man arrested on drug, ammunition charges
A man has been arrested on drug and ammunition possession charges, according to the Wareham Police Department.
Kevin Tripp, 58, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 9:30 p.m., after police found small amounts of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia including plastic baggies, baking soda, and a digital scale in his RV, using a search warrant for the RV parked at 14 Highland Ave., police said. They said the officers also found a shotgun shell Tripp was not licensed to possess. Police said the search was part of an investigation involving the alleged sale of illegal drugs from the RV, specifically crack cocaine.
Tripp was scheduled to be arraigned at the Wareham District Court Wednesday morning on charges of possession of a Class B substance, and possession of ammunition without an FID card, police said.
