Marie Marguerite Souza, 72 years young of Buzzards Bay, passed away on August 4, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

A loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, Marie was born to the late Paul and Ora Rodrigue, October 28, 1950 in Taunton, MA. Marie was always on the go and could be seen driving around Bourne and the surrounding areas in her orange Subaru Crosstrek. An active member of the Gleason Family YMCA, she loved working out with friends doing Zumba or using the cardio machines. She cherished dancing with her husband Bob, spending time with family and friends either at the beach or around the dinner table, and doting on her grandson Jimi.

Marie is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years Robert; daughter, Dawn M McGlynn and her partner Dan Lovett; son Jeff and his wife Christine; son Travis and his wife Katlyn; and grandson Jimi, whom she loved to the moon and back. Also, brothers; Ronald, Maurice, O'Neil, and John, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Visitation services will be held at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home on Sunday, August 20th from 2pm to 6pm. With a Celebration of Life service to be held at 4pm. Burial is private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bourne Council on Aging Food Pantry or the Alzheimer's Association.
