Mark B. Cosgrove, 59, former owner of The Bicycle Peddler, parishioner, St. Patrick's Church
Mark B. Cosgrove, 59, of Wareham, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. He was the husband of Patricia L. (Dickens) Cosgrove.
Born in Glen Cove, NY, he was the son of Grace (Barry) Cosgrove of E. Bridgewater and the late Thomas Cosgrove. A graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Mr. Cosgrove was the former owner of The Bicycle Peddler bicycle shop in Wareham. He was also an active parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Wareham.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; two daughters, Molly M. Cosgrove and Elizabeth A. Cosgrove both of Wareham; a son, Adam R. Cosgrove of Wareham; a granddaughter, Carlie R. Phillips of Wareham; three sisters, Ann Cosgrove and Joan Anderson both of E. Bridgewater and Barbara Cosgrove-Davis of Bridgewater and a brother, Patrick Cosgrove of E. Bridgewater.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., Wareham at 10 AM. Interment in Central Cemetery, E. Bridgewater will be at a later date.
