WAREHAM – Mary (Bulcao) DaSilvia, 84, of Wareham, died Friday, January 5, 2024 at her sister’s home in Taunton.  She was the wife of the late Francisco DaSilvia.

Born in Faial, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Rocha) Bulcao.  She worked as a stitcher for Corcoran Shoe Company in Stoughton for many years.  She enjoyed cooking and loved the holidays and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sister, Julia LaBelle of East Taunton, and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother, the late Louie Bulcao, and her sister, the late Dina LaPointe.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, 94 High St., Wareham at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
